How fast can we go live?
Your dashboard goes live within 48 hours of sign-up. We connect to your POS, bank feeds, and supplier invoices — all read-only, so nothing disrupts your operation. The first full reconciliation is typically complete within 7 days.
Do I have to switch accountant?
No. Wideclerk works alongside your existing accountant. We handle the operational financial management — invoices, reconciliation, food cost, VAT optimisation, cash flow — while your accountant continues with filings and statutory reporting. Your accountant will thank you.
What happens during the 30-minute call?
We look at your current setup — systems, processes, people — and identify exactly where we are likely to have impact. We give you an honest view of what the service is worth for your operation. If we don't find significant value, we'll say so. No commitment, no credit card, no preparation required.
Is this a replacement for my accounting software or ERP?
For accounting software, no. Those tools record transactions and handle filings. Wideclerk manages your finances — connects to them, pulls the data, surfaces what's wrong, gives you the answers you can't get from a general ledger. For ERP, sometimes yes. Many of our clients have found Wideclerk more reliable and easier to use than their legacy ERP.
Is our financial data secure?
Yes. All data is encrypted in transit and at rest. All integrations are read-only — we never move money, modify invoices, or write back to your POS or bank. Access is role-based with audit logs, and the platform is GDPR-compliant.
Can we cancel? Is there a long contract?
The platform is month-to-month, no long-term commitment. Managed services (Controller and Part-time CFO) are also month-to-month. No setup fee. No onboarding fee. You only pay for when you need it.
